Los números ordinales se representan como 1o, 2o, 3o… Los números ordinales son los que les dan orden a las cosas, primer lugar, el segundo lugar…

«Uses of ordinal numbers»

DATES: We use ordinal numbers when giving a date.

Ejemplos:

• Her birthday is on the 29th (Twenty – ninth).
• Independence day is celebrated on the fourth of July.

SEQUENCE/ORDER: We use ordinal numbers when we want to show the order or position of someting in a sequence.

Ejemplos:

• Woodward united finished second in the league last year.
• I came third in the race.
• This is the first time it has happened.

• My birthday is in March.
• My birthday is on March 27th (para fechas completas se utiliza on)
• His birthday is in May (utiliza his para masculino)
• Her birthday is on June 13th (utiliza her para femenino)
